For NZ
Picking List - for warehouse staff to pick goods
Packing Slip - goes with goods
We have our own webkit reports (for V6 and partly done for V7)
Picking List - uses bin location (this is a new field as bin location
needs to be set by warehouse not by product) as sort
Packing Slip - at customer level we flag if the customer gets priced or
unpriced and this then determines the result, unless it is a direct
delivery (again, a change in SO to allow user to enter a one-off delivery
address) in which case always unpriced.

In the US (mostly):
Packing Slip - goes in the box, with the product, to the customer,
doesn't
show prices.
Picking Slip (or Pick List) - given to the warehouse staff, so they know
what to get off the shelves to fulfill the order.
Delivery Order - given to a shipper or carrier, authorizing them to
release to a customer.
Other terms don't have a commonly agreed meaning, and I've also met
companies who have different meanings for the terms above.
We always localize the report titles because they don't apply very well
as
written in OpenERP.
Ray.

In the UK the Delivery Order, that accompanies the goods, would usually
be
called a Delivery Note. The Delivery Slip would probably be called a
Picking List or similar.
