Quoting Apostolos Syropoulos :

Hello,

I have compiled ntfs-3g under OpenIndiana 148 and it works just fine.
Also, I have made some patches and I have send them to the developers for
review. If anyone wants to test the package, please send me an e-mail
off-list.

Regards,

A.S.

Hi, I'd like to get this module.

Regards

[OpenIndiana-discuss] Strange Apache problem

2011-04-25 Thread Matt Connolly
Hi all,

I have a strange problem with Apache 2.2 on my oi_148 machine, which I didn't
have in previous versions.

I have an alias setup in apache so a url like "http://localhost/alias"; points
to a php application. This works from localhost. It also works if I manually
type the ip4 address, but it does not work from a mac client using mdns lookup,
ie: "http://server.local/alias";. I can see in netstat that the mac client is
using the ip6 address from mdns, which used to work fine.

To be clear, it's just the alias that doesn't work, the root URL
"http://server.local/"; does work correctly.

Has anyone seen apache directives not work with ip6 but still work with ip4??

Thanks for any input,
Matt.

If we can get the numbers for a given zpool version, we can start off there. No
reason to try to cover all possible versions and configurations all at once.

Vennlige hilsener / Best regards

Doesn't it also vary by RAID type in use? A calculator would be useful but may
have to account for each version of zpool in the wild given that the source is
available...

Sorry - had forgotten that thread, but you're right. Still, ZFS not using all
its memory for the DDT, it seems, only (RAM-1GB)/4 (by default) for metadata,
according to Toomas Soome (tsome @ #openindiana), meaning I hit the barrier at
about 1,2TB unique dedup data on disk.

Does anyone know where I can find exact numbers for the RAM cost? I remember
reading something about this last I did some testing, but I can't recall the
RAM cost was as high as 10-20% of L2ARC. With these numbers in place, we could
create a spreadsheet or even a webapp to allow for easy calculation, given
(guessed) known average blocksize etc...
