In your case you have this error, but I verified on my OpenIndiana machine and
I succesfully upgraded to cmake 3.21.3.
I have on my machine:
$ pkg list cmake

and the contents hash is :

Basically because the hash was wrong , I think you may have some other problem.
Perhaps a disk space related problem ?
If you logon from the text console; you could check other logfiles for network
related problems or disk space issues ...
