Problem after updated to 1.4 RC1

2010-09-06 Thread Avi Block
We had a running instance of OpenMeetings that we installed a year
ago. We had some issues then, but now we decided to give it another
shot.
I downloaded 1.4 RC1, and copied the hibernate config file over from
the old installation. When I navigate to http://host:5080/openmeetings,
I see it tries to connect to rtmpt://host:8088/openmeetings/hibernate,
but gets stuck over there.
The old installation still works fine though. That seems to be
connecting to rtmpt://host:1935/openmeetings/hibernate though.

Re: Ban (kick) user

2010-09-06 Thread RickkciR

I dont see the use for "kick" then. When would ya even need to use it?

An IP look-up table seems to be the thing to do.

Re: co-browsing all users are see new pages, mouse view

2010-09-06 Thread Sebastian Wagner
Hi hosdes,

unfortunately there is no way of grabing the clicks, because of security
reasons you cannot grab the URL of a iFrame when it changes.

Re: how can we add openmeetings to repos centos system

2010-09-06 Thread Sebastian Wagner
For the moment you have no other option then to write your own script and
add that to the update process.

Re: near future plans for better interface

2010-09-06 Thread Sebastian Wagner
Yes well we try to improve permanently. The dashboard will be replaced with
another layout in one of the next versions. For new users its hard, but
"improving for new users" often results in "reducing functionality" and I
don't think that the majority of users and devs is into that idea.

Re: browser plugin for openmeetings

2010-09-06 Thread Sebastian Wagner
Hi folks,

there is a Plugin for Facebook:
http://apps.facebook.com/openmeetings/

What hosdes means is a Single Sign On, like the Moodle or SugarCRM Plugin.

You can also check some of the Demo Video's on my channel for some Plugins
and Extension we've done:
