Please use their form/mailing list to ask the question. BTW, you can use /*nohup */red5 patch start to keep the process running in background. Re: [openmeetings-user] Run red5 server on open suse box as a service
nohup ./red5.sh & or ./red5-highperf.sh And the rest are scripts acording to SuseLinux, you should read the Suse docs how they configure their system scripts. http://de.opensuse.org/SDB:Create_your_own_init_scripts Sebastian 2011/7/25 brajesh kumar : > Hi, > > I have installed openmeetings on a open suse box and it is running > successfully. [openmeetings-user] Run red5 server on open suse box as a service
Hi, I have installed openmeetings on a open suse box and it is running successfully. To start red5 server, I am connecting to open suse box using putty and starting the red5 server to run openmeetings. But when I closes the putty window, it stops the red5 server. I want to run red5 as a service which runs in the background irrespective of putty window is closed. Is there any way to make it possible?
