[openmeetings-user] Detailed Update/upgrade steps

2011-12-13 Thread asi...@simplyappointments.com
I am looking for detailed upgrade steps. I have found
http://code.google.com/p/openmeetings/wiki/UpdateOpenMeetings , In this URL
it indicate "*Since Version 1.3 RC1*" well really this "*Since Version 1.3
RC1*" is only backing up rooms, etc... and not giving upgrade steps.

I have used the "*Prior Version 1.3" to upgrade but I figure there must be
an easier way.

I am running CentOS release 5.5.

Thanks

[openmeetings-user] Re: problem with microsoft lifecam

2011-12-13 Thread Seth Galitzer
I'm guessing it's a problem with Flash in your browser and/or your local
drivers, and not the server. Remember you need to tell Flash to allow
access to your local hardware. Does the camera and mic work with other
Flash multimedia apps?

Re: [openmeetings-user] Re: Through moodle can not enter the room.

2011-12-13 Thread Constantin Sclifos
In the last weeks I needed to install a new server, with MOODLE 1.9.15 and
Openmeetings build 4707, plugin for Moodle is 0.9 version .
After testing, all works (need some tests for screen sharing).
Thanks for great project.

[openmeetings-user] Mind Mapping

2011-12-13 Thread beccon
Hi,

I've seen this video on youtube -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNBzdKwyGVg which has been around for some
time but I cannot find the respective modules - nor find it in the standard
setup. What`s wrong?

It is a really nice feature I'm looking forward to have.

[openmeetings-user] Re: Can't start openmeetings_1_9_0_r4692 under Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS

2011-12-13 Thread viktara
I think the version error was a little bit of a red herring - I had
not properly closed the quotes around on of the values.

With the new package provided by Sebastian, I did not have to do
anything at all - just works as per the install documentation.

2011-12-13 Thread solomax
I was able to get your root error
"Value '2.0' of  attribute 'version' of element 'persistence' is not
valid" error occurs
after I have replaced apache-openjpa-2.1.0.jar with apache-
openjpa-1.2.2.jar
OM 1.9 uses openjpa2
Please try to run 1.9 without any modifications (except for replacing
javaee-api-5.1.2.jar)

...after to make the new data base called hola,
do you configure it in:

C:\red5\\webapps\openmeetings\WEB-INF\classes\META-INF\persistence.xml

Please, unzip a new OpenMeetings-1.9.0...zip and make a new install,
and make
a new data base called open190...for exemple and configure
persistence.xml.

[openmeetings-user] problem with microsoft lifecam

2011-12-13 Thread parsifal83
Hi, i've a problem with Microsoft Lifecam studio HD.
I've installed openmeetings 1.9 on server linux ubuntu 10.04.
I've installed a client with ubuntu 11.10, firefox 8, adobe flash
11.1.102.55 and java sun 1.6.
I've a Microsoft Lifecam studio Hd that works with other application;
so when i test it with audio and video in the preview windows it
works, but when i enter in the room the screen is black.
If i changed the audio device with the internal realteck, it works and
i can view the images.

So if i do the same thing in windows client it works correctly.

Have you any ideas?

2011-12-13 Thread Holger Rabbach (ICT)
Hi Sebastian,

It's the modified jee-container.xml file I sent you that enables HTTPS. You
were going to put it into 1.9 as jee-cointainer-ssl.xml, the instructions tell
people to rename it if necessary.
