Re: Windows 2008 or Linux?

2010-04-16 Thread Marco Rojas
Debian or Ubuntu is my recomendation, requirements like Imagemagick and the
rest are a apt-get install away while in Windows they could be hard to
setup.

Re: NetConnection.Connect.Failed

Make sure you are forwarding port 1935 to your OpenMeetings server on your
router, also forward port 8088.

but should it not go out by using 1935? so why is this happen?

Re: openmeetings installation - waiting for localhost

2009-06-06 Thread Marco Rojas
That happens to me if I try to install from my Linux computers...I was
forced to install windows xp on virtualbox for testing and I was able to
complete the installation on that.

 Hi everyone!

I just wanted to install om on my debian/sid server. Everything worked
fine and i followed all guides. I had red5 installed previously and
just put the webapps folders into the originally red5 directory. i got
the installation page fine and filled in everything. all services were
runnig fine. But after clicking the Install Button the page stood
still by waiting for localhost and nothing more happened. I used
Iceweasel. should i try again with epi or did i forgot anything to
copy to the red5 dir in order to complete installation?

Many thanks in advantage for your help, and thanks for that great
 tool!

Re: OpenMeetings install

2009-06-06 Thread Marco Rojas
I get the same errors, as far as I am concerned the documentation for SV are
very outdated and not very good. They confused me, I tried to combined them
with the older instructions for Debian for example, and got some better
results but very instable installation.
