jrdesktop release and video switching

2009-03-02 Thread deadwait

hi,
im facing the bad bandwidth error, and i read somewhere on the mailing
list archives that it is solved in the development version.
im current using 0.7rc2 , i just wanted to know when will the new
version with jrdesktop be released .
i really dont know how to compile in java.
also is there a option for video switching, based on voice
eg: when i have a conference with say 7 people , instead of having 7
windows with everyones cam, can i just have two windows, one with my
cam and the other window will keep switching video based on who's
talking.
and if such a think does get implemented, do you think it will save
network bandwidth.
