If you don't know or don't have a termcap or libncurses, install OpenPKG ncurses package as a workaround. It is known that redhat9 and suse9 don't do it and thus perl-term fails building. Workaround: install OpenPKG ncurses package prior perl-term Solution: not know now. The perl-term package should not require ncurses so adding it as a requirement is not intended use.
