[opensc-devel] Progress on Starcos 3.2 cards?

2012-10-30 Thread Michael Below
Hi,

I would like to use a Starcos 3.2 card with pcscd (this one:
http://www.deutschepost.de/dpag?tab=1skin=hicheck=yeslang=de_DExmlFile=link1015459_49595).

There is a promising feature request with a partial solution (#373), but
the following discussion in the bug tracker seems to focus on general
issues of PIN caching.

This kind of card is widely used in Germany, I think it would be a good
thing to add it to pcscd. I'd be happy to help testing.

Cheers

Michael

Hi Michael,

the Starcos 3.2 specifications are only available under NDA and thus it
will be fairly difficult to provide an open source implementation for
the driver.

Kind regards,

Andreas
