[orkut-developer] orkut share
The sharing form it's not posting on orkut. I'm using this url to share pages on orkut :http://promote.orkut.com/preview?nt=orkut.comtt=$titledu=$url, it's shows the title and the imagens but when I press submit it doesn't post on my account. An example: http://promote.orkut.com/preview?nt=orkut.comtt=testdu=http%3A%2F%2Fe-goi.com%2F I tested the orkut share at addthis.com and it's not working too. [orkut-developer] orkut Share API / share button / share element is not working
Hello dear developers out there. I've just implemented the orkut share button in one of my projects (in every way possible) and it doesn't work. Once the button is in place and I click it a pop-up window shows correctly with the specified information. So far so good. Then I click the button Share in the dialog and I'm redirected to a page that says: posted to orkut successfully. Still good. When I look in my orkut profile for updates my recently shared link does not show up. Fail. And there is nothing in my promotions either. Fail. I've checked this forum and others seem to have the same problem. I even tried to (orkut) share a post via the link that is presented on the official http://blog.orkut.com/ but I get the same results. Could you please confirm that this is a problem that occurs for everyone and not only me? [orkut-developer] App updates not showing on New UI
Hi developers, Due to an issue on our side, application posts (activities) are currently not showing on the New UI. We are working to get this fixed as soon as possible. [orkut-developer] Issue with requestNavigateTo with params on Chrome browser
Hello There is currently an issue which happens on Google Chrome only but works fine on IE and Firefox. When I navigate to canvas using different params, i.e.: var canvas_view = new gadgets.views.View(canvas); gadgets.views.requestNavigateTo(canvas_view, params); there is a warning popup on Chrome: You are leaving orkut. Be suspicious of external websites that ask for account information. or Você está saindo do orkut. Suspeite de sites externos que peçam informações de sua conta. while the navigation is not leaving orkut, just navigates back to the same canvas with diff params. Happens on Chrome only. [orkut-developer] Wanna know why i can not do upload my photos from the orkut to Picasa / Facebook
In my opinion, orkut is the worst than anothers relations site. That's why they are blocking this App. In Brazil, where I live, this was the most site used and now, coz this new version of the orkut. everybody is starting not to use it more and are transfering to facebook. Pls if the orkut remains like that, nobody will use it more. We need a best solution for it. Hi, I'm not being able to update the gadget xml for this app http://www.orkut.com/Main#AppInfo?appId=818255674955 Can you refesh the xml so it appears on directory for all languagues? We initially used Locale pt-BR but we want it to be available for all users so we added the other languages as Locale tags. [orkut-developer] How to add thumbnail, screenshot and description?
Hi there, first of all, I'm totally newbie in developing with internet tools. So, how do I add a description, a thumbnail and a screenshot to a gadget? I tried the tutorial, made a XML file as told, but it doesn't fit Orkut. Looks like it is demanding more than just the basic APP. [orkut-developer] Problems calling Opensocial API from IE7
We're seeing problems calling the opensocial API from IE7 browsers. Amongst others, calls to opensocial.requestSendMessage and opensocial.requestCreateActivity are failing silently. Not exceptions are thrown and the callbacks don't get called. None of the popup UI's for creating the messages gets rendered. Is anyone else seeing these problems? [orkut-developer] Callback for the Share API
Hi, I would like to know if is there any way to specify a callback or something for the share API (Button, HTML, any of them) I would like to know if the user actually shared the link. In case of HTML, It could be a callback URL, so the user is redirected to this URL once he published the share or not. Thanks. [orkut-developer] my updates via the orkut client library
Hello, I'm wondering if it is possible to get the list of My Updates (see attached image showing My Updates in the navigation bar in the new Orkut web UI) using the orkut client library. At present I'm only able to get changes to the profile headline. I'm using the GetActivitiesTx() constructor from the library to create the request. Thank you. Hi, Orkut does not host the XMLs on our side (we only cache them). You have to edit the XML on your hosting service. I see your app in my console here and it's showing a whole bunch of locales already. I think it should be working. If you don't see it on the directory for other languages, it's probably because the DB hasn't finished replicating yet.
