[osol-discuss] which hardware opensolaris supports?

2009-06-08 Thread Alexander Bubnov
Hello, all!
I would like to try opensolaris under server machine, for example
Xeon. Some google search help to understand that Intel and OpenSolaris
are good panthers...
But I would like to see official documentation about how many RAM
opensolaris can have, how many processors, which main boards, which
RAM opensolaris supports and so on... Unfortunately, I cannot find
such notes. Can you please help to find out its location?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

My MBR is erased by linux install manager. And I would like to see
grub settings on solaris partition to add them to linux grub menu, but
I cannot mount solaris partitions under opensolaris live cd.

What is wrong? How can I mount an opensolaris's partition under
opensolaris? Which FS type is used for opensolaris?
