The point of having a Nevada project would be, I assume, to manage release content and (at least indirectly) schedules. But aren't those issues that _should_ ultimately be decided by each distribution? Should we be committing every Open Solaris based distribution to obeying the ebb and flow of Sun Solaris release schedules? When they come into conflict, what's the right dividing line between needing to pick and choose the components that belong in a given release, and coordinating those decisions across distributions? I'd like to propose that we rename the onnv community to be the on community. The original name is more suitable for a project (a proposal for which is to be made shortly), but we didn't have the infrastructure at the time to do the right thing. If there's a strong desire to make this more descriptive, I'm okay with osnet instead of on, but on is by far the more common acronym these days. I'd guess that simply expanding and describing it on the main communities page as well as at the top of the ON community page itself would probably be sufficient to answer the huh?s we'd get.
