Yep, and still the same with b127 and vbox 3.0.10.

Seems to happen when you use the 32-bit Xorg VESA driver
with virtualbox. A possible workaround is to define a 64-bit
virtualbox guest with 1GB (or more) of memory.

I have run into a different kind of problem; I wasn't even able to boot from
the b122 image (AMD quad-core, Nvidia video, 8 GB RAM, trying to boot from VBox
3.0.4 under Jaunty).

The problem was caused by "Unexpected Trap" (Bug ID 6863875).

I meant OSOL B122(new install) in VirtualBox 3.0.4 on top of Nevada 117.

I saw this issue in my VirtualBox 3.0.4 running Nevada 117, too. Xorg
took most of the CPU. After installing the guest additions, the problem
went away. Not sure it is a problem of VirtualBox or Xorg.

I've also noticed this, but with an actual image-update to build 122 -
something between the interaction of VirtualBox (3.0.4, no guest
additions), OSX and likely a graphics driver for XOrg is providing a
lot of slowness. Takes probably upwards of 10 seconds to render the
GDM login screen. Completely unusable.

How much RAM does the Mac have?
How much are you assigning to the VM?

it's so slow, that I need to wait ~1min to see the cursor movement for moving
my mouse.
