When running opensolaris as a guest under vmware workstation, I constantly have a problem with ssh sessions hanging/disconnecting. These are sessions from the workstation logging into the OS guest.
It doesn't seem to be any sort of idle timeout as it can happen after 2 min of being idle or 24 hours of being idle. Sometimes the sessions will just abruptly disconnect and sometimes they'll hang and not receive input for maybe 30 seconds, but then come back to life for a while. None of my linux guests have this problem under the same setup so I'm at a bit of a loss as to what's going on.
