hi folks, just downloaded & made CD's of SXCR build 43 & am trying to install on an IBM thinkpad.
i get as far as "determining system identity" and it hangs - trying to create a console window to see what's going on yields a 'pty not found' error. i can interrupt (^C) in the system indentity to get the console/terminal windows to give me a prompt, but all i can really do is reboot. build 33 appears to work OK on the same hardware. anyone else seen this with a fresh install of SXCR 43 (on x86 or not) and/or can suggest tips i can try? tia p This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list opensolaris-discuss@opensolaris.org
