[Openstack] instance dns issue
Hi, My instances can ping the ips but not using dns. The resolv.conf gets populated by the private instance network dns ip (10.0.0.2, from 10.0.0.0/24) . I can ping the dns ip but dns resolv is not working. What might be the issue? I am on quantum and grizzly in 12.04 lts. How this will scale up if we add two more storage nodes of the same capacity? Also, is there any tool to monitor the usage, health of the whole cluster? swauth-add-user -K swauthkey -a test testerrr testin
swauth version = 1.0.2+git2028-0ubuntu1
swift from grizzly runing on 12.04 lts.
However I can see from swauth-list
swauth-list -A http://localhost:8080/auth/ -K swauthkey | python -m
json.tool

Anybody seeing this issue?

The user can then connect such network to any logical router through the quantum API; thus granting metadata access to all the networks connected to such router. Probably I'm doing something wrong, I don't know yet, but I'm seeing some errors on the logs, already reported here on this list. Like for example: nova-novncproxy conflicts with novnc (no VNC console for now), dhcp-agent.log / auth.log points to some problems with `sudo' or the `rootwarp' subsystem when dealing with metadata (so it isn't working)... Hi, I am a bit confused about the networking of nova in flatdhp mode. Can somebody share nova.conf and the output of ifconfig from controller and compute nodes? Also the /etc/network/interface file if possible. Interestingly (perhaps) I see nothing in the keystone.log file. In fact, I
don't even see the keystone log file. Keystone opens to log files named
'admin.log' and 'keystone_legacy_auth.log'. Is this right? Also, if I run
keystone interactively (keystone -v -d) then issue the glance command, I see
nothing in the keystone window. This doesn't seem right to me, but I'm just
getting started with keystone integration.

Added/Edited the following to glance-api.conf
pipeline = authtoken keystone_shim registryapp
and
pipeline = versionnegotiation authtoken keystone_shim apiv1app
to glance-registry.conf

I could login in with errors but looks its really impossible to fix (at least to me) the openstackx issue.
