Re: [Openstack] Openstack Ironic Installation in CentOS

2015-01-13 Thread Christopher Anderson
Hello:

Im also had this issue

This worked for me you may have to add the fhel7 repo first but after that
 this worked for me

yum install python-mock python-pyghmi
openstack-ironic-common-2014.2-2.el7.noarch.rpm
openstack-ironic-api-2014.2-2.el7.noarch.rpm
openstack-ironic-conductor-2014.2-2.el7.noarch.rpm

Let me know if that’s what your looking for after that it was straight
forward to follow the install for Ubuntu as a guide

2014-06-26 Thread 엄재철
Firstly ,Thank you for your kindness. However, I don't need to write code
for Ironic.

I'm in the side of administrator.

I know the developer guide is to do with code using Ironic API. For the
future work, it may be valuable to spend my time for following the Dev.
guide, but not now.

It might be better to wait for an updated mirror site (or use Ubuntu).

Thank you, again.

2014-06-26 Thread Ian Y. Choi
Hello Steve,

Nice see you in this openstack mailing list because I'm also Korean. : )

Although nowadays I mainly use Ubuntu instead of CentOS,
based on my experience, sometimes Korean mirror site ftp.daum.net is not
up-to-date.
(I have experienced much trouble because of this strange thing)

But in your case, I simply searched using rpmfind.net, but it seems that
ironic supports only in Fedora Rawhide..
:
http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=openstack-ironic-&submit=Search+...&system=&arch=
<]>

And please refer to 'Developer Quick-Start' for ironic. You can install
ironic using git.

Hope to be helpful,

/Ian

[Openstack] Openstack Ironic Installation in CentOS

2014-06-25 Thread 엄재철
Hello.

I'm trying to install Ironic in CentOS 6.5 and IceHouse, and I'm following
the guide
'http://docs.openstack.org/developer/ironic/deploy/install-guide.html'.

According to the guide and the others, the way for installation is only
refered for Ubuntu
by using 'apt-get'.

Do you have any idea of using yum 'for' the Ironic package?

or

Do I have to build Ironic by myself using the source code from git??
(If so, it is just OK to execute 'setup.py' to build up Ironic?)

Give me your idea. It will be my plesure!

Sincerely, Steve Um.
