Then I don't need to mess with keys any longer which I think is what you're getting at. you can inject your own key into your VM then you do not need to do anything special. hi. if you put your private key to ~/.ssh/id_rsa openSSH automatically tries it. alternatively, you can specify it in ~/.ssh/config file per-host (for syntax and config options, see man ssh_config).
