Re: [Openstack] Error when installing RDO
I use a consistent, known working answers file and from time to time Puppet will bomb out on some operation. Simply rerunning Packstack will, in most cases, result in a working installation on the next run. Sometimes it takes three runs, but it gets there. This is using CentOS 7.1 inside a VirtualBox virtual machine and the RDO Liberty repo. I have about a 90-95% success rate on the first run. Logs! Sorry you are asking for help but it like my car doesn't run ? Did you put gas? Do you start it? Feel free to contact me off line I will be happy to help but data is needed. Re: [Openstack] Error when installing RDO
We use RDO and it works fine all the time. What image do you use to install it? CentOS, is this a cloud image or not? You cannot just ask though, without showing the error…. So anyhow, we suggest that next time you can provide a log with the details. Re: [Openstack] Error when installing RDO
I assume you are using CentOS as the guest where RDO is installed. What is the error message and do they all have the same error message or fail at different parts of the install? Anthony. Did exactly half of students face error every time? Why don't you use kvm? Anyhow answer and log files may be helpful, I guess.
