A performance issue was found when using OVS mechanism (we deduced it's on VM RX side) - we get very limited BW, tested with iperf. When using Mellanox SR-IOV the problem does not occur, this also points on OVS mechanism driver problem. [openstack-dev] [Fuel] [Mellanox] [6.0] Mellanox feature disfunction due to kernel upgrade on CentOS
Mellanox feature is broken again due to another kernel replacement done by MOS team on CentOS. This was found on Fuel 6.0 RC2. Since this is a reoccurring issue I reopened the existing bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1393414 The previous solution was upgrading the kickstart stage kernel + replacing the OFED rpm package. I'm checking if there is any way to solve this without the kernel upgrade in order to minimize the impact so close to GA, I'll update ASAP. I will push a puppet fix. 2. https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1397895 On our side looks like MOS-cinder added a patch to the cinder package which has a mistake on the ISER part. We investigated it here and found the cause, the solution is a small fix in the ISERTgtAdm class, which affect only Mellanox. A patch was attached to the LP bug. 3. https://bugs.launchpad.net/fuel/+bug/1397891 This was reproduced twice. Looks like it's not related specifically to Mellanox flow, but a general MOS issue - mismatching tenant owners for floating-IP and port (services/admin).
