Hi Team,

I am using KILO, i am having issue while launching any instance, its ending
up with following error

*Danger: *There was an error submitting the form. Please try again.

i have managed to capture the log, where i have found as

tail -f /var/log/nova/nova-conductor.log

[Openstack-operators] Nova resources are out of sync in ocata version

Hi All,

Nova resources are out of sync in ocata version, what values are showing on
dashboard are mismatch of actual running instances, i do remember i had
script for auto sync resources but this script is getting fail in this
case, Kindly help here.

 unable to create snapshot of instance. It stuck at 50% for a very long

[Openstack-operators] not able to create snapshot - in Kilo version

Hi Folks,

I have been using Kilo version, i am trying snapshot from nova cli, with
following command

nova image-create 2ba53252-ce91-4531-a126-925badf55faf instance-image-test
--poll


Its ending me with 0% progress until long time, nothing is happening, its
not progressing at all, WHILE with different tenant, i am able to create
snapshot successfully.

Kindly let me know if you have any clue ?

Hi team,

I am running Kilo setup with 1 Controller and 7 nova nodes, i have added 3
additional nova nodes, where i can see, in system information under compute
nodes that nodes are up and running, but when i am trying to launch
instance then it is prompting below error :

instance has an error status: Please try again later [Error: No valid host
was found. Exceeded max scheduling attempts 3 for instance

Although i have restarted all nova services on controller node as

systemctl start openstack-nova-novncproxy.service


also verified that firewall is disabled on both systems. checked
configuration files once again, all seems ok, getting same status as above.

I have basic setup on it, when i was trying to create a volume to tenant
called demo or admin i am able to create but with status error, i don't why
it is so ? do i need to configure storage as a separate node to create
cinder volume ? where i am missing ?
