Hello, I use DVDs that go with Linux Magazine, SuSE 10.2 and 10.3 with issues 75 and 85. YaST can't find htdig or wine in SuSE 10.3. I had bad experience with opensuse.org repo, YaST takes ages to start. Maybe you enjoy very fast Internet connection? I live in a rural area in Portugal - the weather is much better here! Yes, I agree that using repositories with anything less than an ADSL connection, is a real PITA. However... instead of using the download.opensuse.org redirector, you can use another repo that works faster for you. I think I remember reading about one on a portuguese usinversity, perhaps: http://en.opensuse.org/Mirrors_Released_Version#Portugal You will have to browse a bit to find where is the corresponding update directory for those mirrors. Or, you could buy the boxed edition: two double layer DVDs, they contain more. Or mirror into an external usb drive the entire oss / non oss repos from an internet cafe... - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Based on the issue numbers, I am assuming that you are referring to the European version of Linux Magazine. There is one in the US with the same name, but is published by someone else. The European version is published in the US as Linux Magazine Pro. Do you subscribe or buy it off the rack? Just curious.
