Ignore this.
I rebooted because of a YOU update request and now ./runme.pl is
proceeding normally. Maybe it was a conflict between a YOU update I
was doing and trying to install vmware simultaneously.

It is not a perfect match with what I'm trying to do:
10.3 (64-bit)
vmware server (1.0.4) http://register.vmware.com/content/download.html
I installed the pre-reqs called for including the kernel source. Then
the downloaded vmware server rpm.
Next when I try to run ./runme.pl I get an error about
include/version.h being missing and that perhaps I need to compile
the kernel before continueing.
Seems like a big step to be missing, so I'm hoping for some guidance.
