This depends on your internet connection speed. So, yes, it's better to do it
after installation, when you can do something else on the computer while this
is going on.

The mirrors are just too loaded at the moment :-(

But at least we now get a dialog box showing the desc files being
downloaded, albeit very slowly. Before there was just a please wait
which gave no indication of whether the process had jammed or not.

Another small but helpful improvement.

One minor point: if you opt to add the sources during installation,
the dialog box that appears cannot be lengthened. The URL is so long
that you can't the see file names change, and it still looks as though
the process has jammed.

There seems to be a problem at the moment with the x86_64 DVD. I
downloaded it last night, but it failed the MD5SUM check. I tried again
this morning, but only get a 350 byte file and an error message about a
cyclic link.

Humm, here I can increase the length of the window in order to see which file
is beinf downloaded. Just press the left-mouse button on the right edge of
the window and increase it.

Actually, I think you have to use the right bottom corner to change the window
size.

Just to be clear: I could do that once the system had been installed
and I was using YaST with a full graphical interface. I couldn't do it
when I accepted the option to add repositories during the install
process.

I could do it boht during the install (when I added and Add-on product) and
after the install. But I had to click on the right bottom of te window.
Clicking on ant other edge didn't allo the resize, which for itself is quites
strange.
