I've also seen this and this commit fixes it: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-commit/2007-06/msg00744.html A temporary woraround is to disable parallel booting in /etc/sysconfig/boot. hth, Michal - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

How your rc5.d looks like is of little interest unless you run with RUN_PARALLEL=no (which would be a workaround for your current problem). The problem you see is fixed in sysvinit. Look around for this changelog: * Mi Jun 20 2007 - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - startpar: mark started processes as running Unfortunately I can't tell you when it will see the Factory sync. This doesn't mean that a page has to break on these things - if the author did his job well, it will look good at all fonts and font sizes, with any window size etc. so the page is nearly unbreakable. (You might have noticed my stress test on the redesign for *.opensuse.org in opensuse-wiki ;-) If you really want to have a perfectly reproducable layout on your website, you should publish it as PNG instead of using HTML ;-) - but don't complain if search engines and also your visitors don't really like this...
