[opensuse-factory] blurry k-menu icons (10.3 Alpha3)
I have just installed and updated the latest openSUSE development release, so now am running 10.3 Alpha3plus. I have to say that it's faster than 10.2, however the icons on the k-menu are a bit ugly for my taste... they are small and many of them are blurry.. I prefer openSUSE 10.2's k-menu. Anyway, is there a way to make them bigger? I would suggest to make the icons a little bit bigger as they were in 10.2. [opensuse-factory] recently used apps list empty (kmenu)
If I go to kmenu - recently used, I don't see any applications that I have recently used; it's just empty. Am I the only one who sees this?
[opensuse-factory] SPAM: YAST new icons
Hello,Is it possible to use YAST KDE-like icons? The other day I upgraded to openSUSE 10.2 (i586) Alpha5plus and now I see GNOME-like (maybe from the Tango project?) icons on YAST.Greetings
[opensuse-factory] SPAM: kmix: mixer cannot be found
Hello,I have upgraded my laptop to openSUSE 10.2 (i586) Alpha5plus and now kmix says mixer cannot be found. It was working okay on openSUSE 10.2 Alpha 4.The test music is played successfully (YAST-sound-other-volume-test). I'm not sure if this is a KDE bug or an openSUSE bug.Cheers
Re: [opensuse-factory] SPAM: YAST new icons
I think that those icons come from the Tango Project. Correct me if I'm wrong. IMHO, a true GNOME and a true KDE icon in the installer looks much better, just the way it was. That is not fair, KDE does use more and brighter colors and that may be shown. It did not look bad in 10.1 so why change it? Because SUSE is gonna be Gnome-style?Perhaps you should do some basic research before making an inaccuratestatement as above, Because SUSE is gonna be Gnome-style?. Re: SPAM: Re: [opensuse-factory] sound skips
Yes, it's turned on (by default). On 10/15/06, Kenneth Schneider [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: On Sun, 2006-10-15 at 13:08 +0200, opensuse4u . wrote: Hello, I have recently compiled and installed libxine, so I can play mp3 files on Amarok. Both Amarok and Kaffeine now play mp3 files. However, the sound skips using any of them. If I play video, same thing. I suspect it has something to do with arts. When I'm playing Enemy Territory there's no sound skipping. If I go to YAST - Hardware - Sound - Edit, it says Sound Card Advanced Options and below AC97 workaround for strange hardware Any hints?
