I´m not sure if they are related. The symptom is the same. The following event
will start in 10.2 at 12:30 and in 10.0 at 11:30. The differenca is in 10.0 I
have updated to KDE 3.5.5 and while using the same distro no problem occured.
And the events are not that old I created most of them in Oktober with KDE
3.5.4 or 3.5.5.

Yes it is, take a look at the KOrganizer Settings (in the german
version: Einstellungen -> KOrganizer einrichten... -> Uhrzeit und
Datum) set the timezone correct and save the settings. This fixed it
here.

Do you have this http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117443 problem?

I just looked, and it was already set to Berlin/Germany as well as entire KDE.
(And what I would expect, at least before I change it)
Seems not to be the reason.

[opensuse-factory] Kontact- Calendar-import

2006-12-03 Thread Peter Buschbacher
When I trie to import std.ics from my suse10.0 with kde3.5.5 all events are
shown one hour later in opensuse 10.2.
Does this have something to do with the change to European "Wintertime"?
Both 10.0 and 10.2 use local time, the clock shows the right time, and is
updatet by ntp.
Is there a configuration option or anything else I can do to correct this. I
did not find a bug that seems to relate with this, can anybody confirm this
behaviour?

By the way, I´ve got most of my all Day apps configured nearly to the state of
my standard system, including multimedia from additional sources, and the
overall impression I got is quite good. I just stumbled over some cosmetic
things like translations of the Dialogs, where Buttons don´t have exactly the
same name as help-texts e.g. in some yast-modules.
I´m really looking forward to 10.2.
Thanks guys
Peter
