The bandwidth of the update server? I used yast online update to test. If you used ZMD/zen-updater and it hangs please open a bugreport. But the packages are from RC1 in http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/suse/ The Yast online update show me that about 70% of the packages than I have installed are a version newer than appear in the metadata (in red), but mi installed packages are from beta 2.
