Hi Malte,

can you double-check if your AD configuration (the stuff you put into the
manager console) works as expected? Have you had successfull configurations
in the past?

Re: [openthinclient-user] dns register error

2014-06-24 Thread Erik Walker
hi alex,

thank you. I made 2 .Applications (autostart), the first will mount a share
and the second runs a nsupdate-script

sudo mount -t cifs //10.143.12.6/otcmount /var/tmp -o user=otc

sudo bash /var/tmp/./script.sh

The script sends a dns-update and writes the commands back to the
cifs-share so I can see which client registered with which adress

Is it possible to put the 2 commands in one together?
thanks

Re: [openthinclient-user] Consus CPU Kernel error

2014-06-24 Thread Julian Ohm
Hi

After updating sources.list to testing and using 2.0.20 base the boot works
until

I would say until to that point when it tries to start the xserver. At this
point the system hangs and I find no error message.

Someone an idea where to look for errors?

Hi Alexander,

Thanks for your response.
I have tried to update the scripts, but when I search for new updates over the
package management, I don't find new updates.
We have now installed the following versions:
Tcos-devices: 2.0-13
Tcos-libs: 2.0-9
Tcos-scripts: 2.0-30
I have uninstalled this packages, installed again and rebooted the Server (it
is a Windows 2008 R2 server).
After that we can’t login with an domain account.
Do you have an idea why? Or are the scripts to old?
Best regards

Dear All,

I try to login with the domain accounts to the open Thinclients, but
unfortunately that does not work.
We are using the Base version 2.0-18
I have configured the second LDAP like the wiki. But for our domain ☺
In the Management I can see all my users and groups from the LDAP.

If I try to login on the client I always get the message “wrong password,
please try again”
I have tested this with a couple of users and the combination from user and
password is correct.
I also tried only the username, domain\username and I also changed the LDAP
server name to the IP address. But I always get the same error.

Kind regards,

Malte Gerken
