[openthinclient-user] Upgrade to Consus
I am running openthinclient 1.0.0. If I run the installer for Consus (2.0) will it upgrade all of my data from my 1.0.0 install or do I need to uninstall 1.0.0 and then install 2.0 and reconfigure? [openthinclient-user] Upgrade Path to OTC 2
We are currently running otc 1.0.0 and would like to upgrade to otc 2 (Consus) is there an upgrade path available so that our data will remain intact or do we need to uninstall and do a fresh install of otc 2? I apologize if this is covered somewhere in the wiki or on the website but I searched for it and was unable to find the information. Thanks Rob... -- Time is money. Stop wasting it! Re: [openthinclient-user] Raspberry PI
Yes I was thinking model B. is the chip in the Pi not PXE compatible? Even booting from SD would be nice as an inexpensive OTC device. Low power consumption as well. Rig it up to a case that you can attach to VESA mount on the back of a monitor and it makes for a real compact work environment. Our current use of OTC is just as a terminal for users to log into any otc client and rdp to a certain pre-defined machine. Perhaps I am missing something here but I thought it would be a great idea. I am guessing that you mean using the Pi model B as client, booting from the SD card rather than PXE, but I can't see an obvious use case for the Pi with OTC.
