Hi,

I solved the problem by myself.
I got the sources and modified the desktop app.

Correct...

Apparently, I can't change the fact.
Users can still use the browser, filemanager and settings-menu.
The perfect way would be a client that boots into a rdp session and the users
have no chance to see or change anything expect on the rdp-server itself.

2014-08-19 Thread Winter, Jan
Hi,

freerdp starts in fullscreen and autostart.
The problem is at startup and when the rdp session restart (after
logout/disconnect).
Users can see the desktop+taskbar for few seconds, till the rdp session is
connected.

It’s just a small blemish.
However, it would be nice to correct this.

We tested rdesktop not yet because we had problems in prior projects referring
to rdp session roaming.
In my opinion it’s not a problem oft he rdp client but rather the
windowmanager’s !?!
What is the reason for removing this settings from the desktop-app?

I think it´s because you are using freerdp... try to use rdesktop with
autostart and see if it works.

Hi,

my intention is to start a thin-client into a rdp-session.

I set freerdp to autostart and my device to autologon.

So far so good, it works.

But, the desktop and taskbar is still in background and visible for few seconds
when the freeRDP-App is restart.

In OTC 1.0 there was a possibility to avoid this situation.

There you can add the desktop app and change the settings to
„windowmanager:no“, „taskbar:no“ and „desktopmanager:no“.

This settings don’t exists in 2.0.

Is there an option in 2.0 to create the same behaviour like in 1.0?

Best regards,

Jan

I think rdp had a fullscreen option...
also rdp has a key shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+Enter or alike) which kicks it in
fullscreen.
or was that with rdesktop, I am not sure, my last time with OTC is quite
some weeks ago.
