Thanks Sofia.

I just added you to our "programming committee" at
https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/EVNT/Fraser+Plugfest+Planning+Page :-)

We're still collecting topic proposals from the community, so we could meet
either over Zoom or IRC to plan/schedule sessions a few weeks prior to the
Plugfest.

In the mean time, feel free to join us (if you're available) during the
bi-weekly planning calls and you can find the meeting details here:
https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/EVNT/Plugfest+-+Fraser+Release. The next
meeting is on Monday (May 7th).

Hi Stor4NFV committers,

I am calling out the vote of the new PTL for the Stor4NFV project.

Feel free to vote on it: https://gerrit.opnfv.org/gerrit/#/c/57031/

Subject: [stor4nfv] stepping down as stor4nfv PTL after F release

Hi all,

Regarding I am taking a new role to engage in edge computing project of Akraino
and becoming a bottleneck of the stor4nfv project development, I have decided
to step down as PTL of stor4nfv project after Fraser release. It has been a
pleasant journey from its incubation last summer to its first release in Fraser
now, I have enjoyed the time working with the community together to achieve
different goals and its first release, and now it is the time for a new tech
lead to navigate the project in the G release.

I am nominating one of the committers Ren Qiaowei to take over my role, if
there is no objection. Qiaowei and I presented the stor4nfv project at the very
beginning on the technical discussion and the TSC meeting, and helped me a lot
during the Fraser release cycle.

I might stay onboard as a committer and continue to contribute to OPNFV.

Thank all.

Regards.

Re: [opnfv-tech-discuss] [test-wg]Requirements for test resources collection

2018-05-03 Thread ollivier . cedric
Hello,

Yes BUILD_TAG is published to the DB but of course no result will be
published by Functest if deployment is unsuccessful (UNTRIGGER)
https://build.opnfv.org/ci/view/functest/job/functest-daisy-baremetal-d
aily-fraser/lastSuccessfulBuild/injectedEnvVars/
http://xtesting.readthedocs.io/en/latest/apidoc/xtesting.core.testcase.
html#xtesting.core.testcase.TestCase.push_to_db

I would have thought that all data (Jenkins + DB) are already in place
to print results and even to highlight several CI/CD issues in OPNFV
(i.e. we can't verify test frameworks via the current model).
If you can't find a connection_check result via BUILD_TAG in DB, it
simply means that Functest (and all tests right after) has not been
called and the deployment is false (as returned to Jenkins)

Developping Jenkins macros (to publish the installer job results and
the red/blue balls from test frameworks) only increases the
maintainance:
Then it will work if Functest is not started right after the deployment
or if Functest changes testcase orders.

As already highlighted, there is no diff in DB between ARM64 and AMD64
in case of Fuel.
You will have to pin the POD which is fully unsafe (ARM64 could switch
to other PODs).
