Title: Ownership and licensing statements in YANG
   Authors: Eliot Lear
Carsten Bormann
   Name:draft-ietf-opsawg-ol-04.txt
   Pages: 8
   Dates: 2023-10-23

Abstract:

This memo provides for an extension to RFC 8520 that allows MUD file
authors to specify ownership and licensing of MUD files themselves.
This memo updates RFC 8520. However, it can also be used for
purposes outside of MUD, and the grouping is structured as such.

Internet-Draft draft-ietf-opsawg-collected-data-manifest-02.txt is now
available. It is a work item of the Operations and Management Area Working
Group (OPSAWG) WG of the IETF.

Title: A Data Manifest for Contextualized Telemetry Data
   Authors: Benoit Claise

Diego R. Lopez
Ignacio Dominguez
Thomas Graf
   Name:draft-ietf-opsawg-collected-data-manifest-02.txt
   Pages: 51
   Dates: 2023-10-23

Abstract:

Network elements use Model-driven Telemetry, and in particular YANG-
Push, to continuously stream information, including both counters and
state information. This document documents the metadata that ensure
that the collected data can be interpreted correctly. This document
specifies the Data Manifest, composed of two YANG data models (the
Platform Manifest and the Data Collection Manifest). The Data
Manifest must be streamed and stored along with the data, up to the
collection and analytics system in order to keep the collected data
fully exploitable by the data scientists.

[OPSAWG] I-D Action: draft-ietf-opsawg-rfc7125-update-06.txt

Internet-Draft draft-ietf-opsawg-rfc7125-update-06.txt is now available. It is
a work item of the Operations and Management Area Working Group (OPSAWG) WG of
the IETF.

Title: An Update to the tcpControlBits IP Flow Information Export (IPFIX)
Information Element
   Author: Mohamed Boucadair
   Name:draft-ietf-opsawg-rfc7125-update-06.txt
   Pages: 8
   Dates: 2023-11-05

Abstract:

RFC 7125 revised the tcpControlBits IP Flow Information Export
(IPFIX) Information Element that was originally defined in RFC 5102
to reflect changes to the TCP header control bits since RFC 793.
However, that update is still problematic for interoperability
because some flag values have subsequently been deprecated.

This document removes stale information from the IPFIX registry and
avoids future conflicts with the authoritative TCP Header Flags
   registry.

   This document obsoletes RFC 7125.

The document also specifies a service model for managing bearers over

Internet-Draft draft-ietf-opsawg-rfc7125-update-07.txt is now available. It is
a work item of the Operations and Management Area Working Group (OPSAWG) WG of
the IETF.

Title: An Update to the tcpControlBits IP Flow Information Export (IPFIX)
Information Element
   Author: Mohamed Boucadair
   Name:draft-ietf-opsawg-rfc7125-update-07.txt
   Pages: 8
   Dates: 2023-11-29

Bo Wu
   Name:draft-ietf-opsawg-teas-attachment-circuit-05.txt
   Pages: 103
   Dates: 2024-01-22

Abstract:

This document specifies a YANG service data model for Attachment
Circuits (ACs). This model can be used for the provisioning of ACs
before or during service provisioning (e.g., Network Slice Service).
The document also specifies a service model for managing bearers over
   which ACs are established.

Also, the document specifies a set of reusable groupings. Whether
other service models reuse structures defined in the AC models or
simply include an AC reference is a design choice of these service
models. Utilizing the AC service model to manage ACs over which a
service is delivered has the advantage of decoupling service
management from upgrading AC components to incorporate recent AC
   technologies or features.

Abstract:

This document defines a YANG data model for policy-based network
access control, which provides consistent and efficient enforcement
of network access control policies based on group identity.
Moreover, this document defines a mechanism to ease the maintenance
of the mapping between a user group identifier and a set of IP/MAC
addresses to enforce policy-based network access control.

In addition, the document defines a RADIUS attribute that is used to
communicate the user group identifier as part of identification and
   authorization information.

Aviran Kadosh
   Name:draft-ietf-opsawg-discardmodel-00.txt
   Pages: 17

Abstract:

The primary function of a network is to transport packets and deliver
them according to a service level objective. Understanding both
where and why packet loss occurs within a network is essential for
effective network operation. Router-reported packet loss is the most
direct signal for network operations to identify customer impact
resulting from unintended packet loss. This document defines an
information model for packet loss reporting, which classifies these
signals to enable automated network mitigation of unintended packet
   loss.

Title : CGN Deployment with BGP/MPLS IP VPNs
Author(s) : Victor Kuarsingh
  John Cianfarani
Filename: draft-ietf-opsawg-lsn-deployment-01.txt
Pages : 17
Date: 2012-10-14

Abstract:
This document specifies a framework to integrate a Network Address
Translation layer into an operator's network to function as a Carrier
Grade NAT (also known as CGN or Large Scale NAT). The CGN
infrastructure will often form a NAT444 environment as the subscriber
home network will likely also contain a NAT function. Exhaustion of
the IPv4 address pool is a major driver compelling some operators to
implement CGN. Although operators may wish to deploy IPv6 to
strategically overcome IPv4 exhaustion, near term needs may not be
satisfied with an IPv6 deployment alone. This document provides a
practical integration model which allows the CGN platform to be
integrated into the network meeting the connectivity needs of the
subscriber while being mindful of not disrupting existing services
and meeting the technical challenges that CGN brings. The model
included in this document utilizes BGP/MPLS IP VPNs which allow for
virtual routing separation helping ease the CGNs impact on the
network. This document does not intend to defend the merits of CGN.

Title : Interface Stack Capability MIB
Author(s) : Edward Beili
Filename: draft-ietf-opsawg-rfc5066bis-00.txt
Pages : 15
Date: 2012-12-25

Abstract:
This document defines Management Information Base (MIB) module for
use with network management protocols in TCP/IP-based internets.
This document defines a set of objects, describing cross-connect
capability of a managed device with multi-layer (stacked) interfaces,
extending the stack management objects in the Interfaces Group MIB
and the Inverted Stack Table MIB modules. This document obsoletes
RFC 5066. It amends that specification by moving the entire EFM-CU-
MIB module along with the relevant descriptive text, to a separate
document, maintained by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics
   Engineers (IEEE) 802.3.1 working group.

Abstract:
Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) is a general term
that refers to a toolset that can be used for fault detection and
isolation, and for performance measurement. OAM mechanisms have been
defined for various layers in the protocol stack, and are used with a
   variety of protocols.

This document presents an overview of the OAM mechanisms that have
been defined and are currently being defined by the IETF.

[OPSAWG] I-D Action: draft-ietf-opsawg-lsn-deployment-02.txt

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Operations and Management Area Working Group
Working Group of the IETF.

Title : CGN Deployment with BGP/MPLS IP VPNs
Author(s) : Victor Kuarsingh
  John Cianfarani
Filename: draft-ietf-opsawg-lsn-deployment-02.txt
Pages : 18
Date: 2013-02-18

Abstract:
This document specifies a framework to integrate a Network Address
Translation layer into an operator's network to function as a Carrier
Grade NAT (also known as CGN or Large Scale NAT). The CGN
infrastructure will often form a NAT444 environment as the subscriber
home network will likely also maintain a subscriber side NAT
function. Exhaustion of the IPv4 address pool is a major driver
compelling some operators to implement CGN. Although operators may
wish to deploy IPv6 to strategically overcome IPv4 exhaustion, near
term needs may not be satisfied with an IPv6 deployment alone. This
document provides a practical integration model which allows the CGN
platform to be integrated into the network meeting the connectivity
needs of the subscriber while being mindful of not disrupting
existing services and meeting the technical challenges that CGN
brings. The model included in this document utilizes BGP/MPLS IP
VPNs which allow for virtual routing separation helping ease the CGNs
impact on the network. This document does not intend to defend the
   merits of CGN.
