Not sure exactly what has happened here, but probably the first major
advocate for anonymity on the Web has gone away (sort of).  A moment
of reverent silence would be appropriate.

The senior system admin and the president/founder of Anonymizer.com have 
given some more details about the discontinuation of their product 
Private Surfing in the above Slashdot discussion.  They are still 
marketing their other products; however, the free version of Private 
Surfing is no longer available.
