This Agile Project Manager must be very well organized and able to manage
multiple technical, business, test and training teams. The Project Manager
is responsible for managing project timelines, resources, quality and risk;
including, milestone planning and reporting, project budget tracking,
budget analysis, project staffing, status reporting, change requests, and
other basic project administration activities. Project duties include
requirements gathering, guiding internal customers through the project life
cycle, and supporting go-live and post-implementation support.

The position requires a strong blend of Project Management business
analysis and technical experience and the ability to work well in a team
environment, as well as skills to facilitate communication, team focus,
influence, service oriented, problem solving, analytic thinking, planning,
personal development and decisiveness. Using these attributes, the
candidate will communicate individual roles and project/program
expectations for both internal and external teams, develop detailed project
plans and schedules, provide work direction and leadership to assigned
projects or programs including sub projects and at times, individual
project members; including scheduling, assignment of work and review of
project efforts.

This position also monitors and audits project or program milestones and
critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule and
identifies ways to resolve schedule issues, provides required project
status reporting, assesses variances from the project plan, gathers
metrics, and develops and implements changes as necessary to ensure that
the project remains within specified scope and is within time, cost, and
quality objectives.

programming, testing, and implementation of business solutions designed to
meet requirements of various departments in the company, such as
distribution, finance, and manufacturing.
8+ years’ experience designing project plans, which identify needs and
define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and
personnel.
Demonstrated ability to work with MS suite of tools to support
Program/Project and Business analysis Functions
Working knowledge of Business Analysis and Quality Analysis on large scale
enterprise projects
Ability to interact with a diverse group of staff including line of
business and technical staff
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in enterprise program/project planning and management
functions
Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation platform to be
used in managing using story backlog and tracking work items, etc..
Experience in an AGILE working environment.

*• Utilize experience with Agile software development paradigms to help
drive projects and manage/coordinate multiple initiatives and development
teams (including offshore).*
*• Interface with business, application developers and IT Technical staff to
ensure project timelines are being hit. *
*• Assist client  internal Product Owners in developing Product Backlogs.*
*• Facilitate all necessary team meetings (Sprint planning, daily standups,
feedback meetings, sprint reviews/retrospectives, etc.). *
*• Conduct Release Planning meetings.*
*• Packaging requirements sets for delivery to offshore development teams,
and maintaining ongoing communication with the teams to ensure they are on
track.*
*• Facilitate estimation meetings.*
*• Coordinate and drive projects to be on time, within budget and meeting
deliverables. *
*• Coordinating multiple project dependencies and moving parts to ensure
that project deliverables are achieved on time and budget.*
*• Remove impediments to team progress.*
*• Gather/report all relevant Agile metrics (i.e. burndown charts, Team
velocity, etc.).*

*• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum roles, artifacts, and framework. *
*• Comprehension of Agile values and principles. *
*• Must have 3-5 years of IT Project Management experience and over 7 years
of overall IT experience.*
*• Must have several years of leading application development efforts.
Strongly prefer custom application development efforts.*
*Must have experience leading an application development effort that was led
using Agile or Scrum Methodology. *
*• Must be a “driver” and not a project administrator. Want someone who will
proactively drive project and hold multiple parties accountable for hitting
their deliverables and keeping the project on the critical path*
*• Must have excellent communication skills. Will interact with business
users and managers, developers, IT Technical staff and IT Managers.*
