This request is for development staff to provide applications development
and support for various web applications and a mobile iPad app for the
Child Care program area. Data is entered via mainframe IMS/DC or web .Net,
stored in DB2, and made available to end-users via .Net web applications,
and Business Objects datamart reports. Project duties will be to work as
part of a team to maintain and enhance applications using web technologies
such as ASP.Net. and database knoweldge for Oracle and DB2.
The person in this position will act as a programmer analyst, working
directly with lead analysts and architects to design, code, test, and
implement applications changes and enhancements and new applications.
Project duties will also include implementation activities such as testing
and quality assurance, and development of user documentation, training
materials and help screens.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates with business knowledge of
child care programs, prior experience with the CARES system, and
familiarity with State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and
development standards.
Hardware/Software Environment: Web Environment - W2K web/applications
servers, UNIX database server, Oracle database, VB  VB.Net, ASP.Net, C#,

Duties  Responsibilities
District and Central Office Application Support - websites, SharePoint
sites, and local applications
Functional Office Technical Liaison - meet with local functional offices to
assess and recommend technology to assist in meeting their goals
Enterprise Application Liaison - work with the local users to identify
their technology and application needs. Work with the Central Office
Business Systems Support Office to meet those needs.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
