they are located, and makes full use of them.  Follows ETS software
development processes.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with business partners.
Leads the activities of small groups of Data Administrators, Database
Administrators and Application Developers, developing project plans,
monitoring progress, and resolving issues regarding existing and new
initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, experienced, hands-on Senior
Developer with experience in designing the Operational databases for
Mortgages and Tailored Lending products, the bedrock of the two critical
initiatives within Banking & Lending stream.

The candidate should have significant modeling experience and having
product behavior knowledge, and should be able to analyze and discuss
near-term and long-term requirements with the various stakeholders.

1. Designing of Operational Databases, including logical and physical data
models
2. Maintain and Document Data Architecture diagrams and Data Flows
3. Assess the impact of changes on existing business and technology
processes, as well as other interfacing systems
4. Assist in coordinating business unit subject matter expert meetings in
order to solicit and cross-reference business and functional requirements
Assist in the change management and QA/Testing phases of the project by
implement software quality assurance initiatives for projects within Wealth
Management
5. Some day-to-day support of the Work-Stream Lead?s key run-the-bank
responsibilities (e.g., Release Management, Incident
Management/troubleshooting)
6. Management reporting including creation, collation & publishing of

inferential statistical methods for conducting necessary analysis. This

on the business requirement

· Explain complex design items through documents and white-board
sessions

· Guide Informatica Developers to ensure standards are met

· PL/SQL knowledge and performance tuning experience needed

· Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks

· Good written and oral communication



Desirable Skills:



· Work with different teams – Business, Source SME, Support team
and Solution Architects to create overall Data Model & ETL Design,
Implement Informatica solutions with complete considerations on
Infrastructure capability, performance, supportability to achieve program
objectives.

The primary responsibility of the Data Modeler is data standards and
procedures, warehousing, design and development of logical and physical
data models and databases, distributed data management, information
management functions.

The Data Modeler develops data models to meet the needs of the
organization's information systems and business requirements; communicates
with other teams on the development of data models.



*Responsibilities*

· Develops data models to meet the needs of the organization's
information systems

· Manages the flow of information between departments through the
use of relational databases.

· Maintains data integrity by working to eliminate redundancy.

· Stays informed of the ways the organization uses its data.

· Plans for collection method, data cleansing, and normalization of
enterprise data to support decision making and reporting.

· Develops policies and procedures related to development and
support of new and ongoing systems to ensure the integrity of data.

· Coordinates data models, dictionaries, and other database
documentation across multiple applications.

· Works with data transformation teams to ensure that the model
design and development is properly communicated

· Understand and translate business needs into data models
supporting long-term solutions.

· Work with the Application Development team to implement data
strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.

· Create logical and physical data models using best practices to
ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.

· Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support
new and existing projects.

· Maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models along with
corresponding metadata.

· Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding
practices to ensure consistency of data models.

· Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new
environments.

· Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from
databases and SQL scripts.

· Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and
discrepancies.

· Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.

· Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose
appropriate solutions.

· Develop data models according to company standards.

· Guide System Analysts, Engineers, Programmers and others on
project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and
interfaces.

· Review modifications to existing software to improve efficiency
and performance.

· Examine new application design and recommend corrections if
required.



*Requirements*

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
required

· Master’ s degree level coursework in Computer Science, CIS, or
related field preferred

· 5+ years of relevant work experience in data modeling or data
analysis

· 5+ years utilizing advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and
Microsoft Access in the workplace

· 5+ years of experience pulling data from big data sources and
