*SAP BO Developer* *Columbus, OH* *6-12 MONTHS CTH* *U.S. Citizen, GC and EAD only* *Documentation will need to be shown (NO EXCEPTION)* *Skype Mandatory* *Job Description:* The role is targeted at an experienced Report Developer with a strong technical background who can take leadership on the architecting, development and test of reporting and business intelligence solutions. The applicant will ideally have experience in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence/Reporting Solution delivery and Investment Management. The applicant should have experience of analysing business/technical problems and requirements, analysing data, defining functional/technical solutions, architecting/developing/testing and implementing suitable business intelligence solutions, and supporting UAT. The successful applicant will be expected to work on their own initiative to mould delivery, manage workload and deliver solutions to problems in a pragmatic, structured and consistent manner. Experience working within Agile development methodologies is also highly desirable. The role requires the applicant also to be engaged in 2nd Line support activities and work closely with other analysts, technical staff and the business to develop creative and cost effective solutions. The applicant will be able to deliver against aggressive timescales in a fast paced dynamic environment. *Qualifications* The applicant is required to possess the following skills/assets:- • Significant experience architecting, designing and developing reporting solutions using SAP BusinessObjects. • 6+ Years experience developing and deploying Business Intelligence Solutions using SAP BusinessObjects in an Enterprise environment. • Significant relational database design and development experience, especially using Oracle and Sybase. • Strong understanding of Data warehousing concepts. • Integration experience including with 3rd party applications. • Self motivated and capable of working autonomously with minimal management supervision and driving forward delivery. • Excellent analytical and problems solving skills for business and technical problems. • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral. This position is based in Columbus, Ohio, although occasional travel may be required. *Competencies:* *Essential:* • Experience in using SAP BusinessObjects. • Experience in designing, developing and testing of WebI reports, DeskI reports and Crystal Reports. • Experience in implementing Business Intelligence security models. • Experience designing, developing & maintaining semantic layers. • Experience working in a Data Warehouse environment. • Reporting/Business Intelligence solutions delivery experience. • Data Analysis and functional Specification and testing experience. • RDBMS (Oracle/Sybase) experience. • Leading delivery of solutions. • Strong interest in technology and business intelligence. *Preferred:* • Knowledge of other reporting/BI tools like Qlikview, spotfire, Cognos, Microstrategy etc. • Knowledge of financial industry ideally gained through working for a large investment management company • Scrum Certification and/or experience working in a SCRUM team.
