*Job Title: Tivoli Admin* *Duration: 12+ months Location : Lincolnshire, IL* *Responsibilties * 1.) Install of the ITNM product. 2.) Setup the mapping of SNMP traps sent by the network equipment to alerts on ITNM. 3.) Verify that network devices are properly discovered and in the correct classes. 4.) Review alerts with network team to ensure they are being reported properly. *Skills needed and responsibilities :* Strong experience on Installation/configuration of Tivoli monitoring infrastructure components. Experience in installation/configuration on Tivoli Network Manager/IP. Configure/customize Network Manager pooling of devices(Fans, Memory, Power supply etc) Configuration of alerts in Netcool omnibus (meaningful text in alert summary, journal configuration, testing tools). Retrieving/Accessing and working on MIB files. Performance tuning and problem determination for IBM Tivoli Monitoring. Configure SNMP alerts to send to Tivoli. Good documentation skills. *Nice to have:* CCNP certification is plus.
