Client is giving us another day to find a lead for the UI team. We have the whole team together so all we need is the lead to get this project. They just need to be a hands on UI Developer/Team Lead…at least 2 years of lead exp who is still hands on with Angular JS, Java Script, CSS, Jquery and HTML. They would some Core Java exp but this is a front end so it cant be a backend guy who has done some UI. This has to be a creative UI Developer with the all the technologies listed along with good comm skills, some core java and the lead exp. The spec has been modified. The candidate will be hired over the phone. They would need to start in Mclean VA but the first or possibly 2nd week of January. *UI Team Lead/Angular JS Web Frontend Developer (AI)* *Primary Location:* McLean, VA *Responsibilities: *-Contribute code to the development of multi-platform application systems, through local builds and deployments as well as the CI/CD environments. -Build modern HTML and JavaScript driven front-ends to achieve better quality, satisfy stakeholders and delight customers. -Be an expert on JavaScript and front end frameworks, collaborate with developers, business partners, architects, and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of systems. -Ensure adherence to Agile team norms and coding standards, software design best practices, architecture strategy and intent. *Qualifications* *Basic Qualifications: *-Bachelor’s degree or military experience. -At least 2 years of experience building software in enterprise/commercial environments, including systems and application design, code development and testing. -At least 3 years experience with JavaScript. 2 years of Team Lead exp. Has to be hands on and have exp leading a team of UI Developers *Preferred Qualifications: *-Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. -Demonstrated hands-on coding skills in all the tiers of web front-end development: Front-end MVCs such as AngularJS or EmberJS, JavaScript, HTML5, JQuery and CSS3. -Mastery of advanced JavaScript concepts, design patterns. -Working knowledge of REST APIs and Java in a J2EE environment. -Understand the concepts of code repositories and be able to commit code to Git or Subversion. -Experience with test automation such as Selenium, Cucumber or PhantomJS. -Experience with Agile, Scrum and/or XP. -Ability to use a variety of open source and commercial technologies and tools. -Embrace, practice and evangelize frequent, incremental code testing and deployment. -Working knowledge of the Unix/Linux command line. -Comfortable collaborating and communicating in a large team environment.
