*Description:*
The senior Web2.0 Client-Side developer will join a team of
architects/developers/designers working on the implementation of new
clearing/risk management applications using Web2.0 technologies: ExtJS 3.0,
JSON, Spring MVC, Java, DB2. An architecture framework has been built in
house already on top of these technologies to standardize the usage and
enhance the functionality provided by the underlying frameworks - a number
of clearing applications were developed using this architecture framework.
The new developer will help with making further enhancements/extensions to
the existing architecture framework to meet new user requirements,
development of new client-side plug-ins and promote the adoption of coding
patterns that improve the maintainability of JavaScript client-side code.
The role also involves active development of new GUI applications and
maintenance of existing ones.
*Requirements: *
Required - Strong JavaScript/Web 2.0/AJAX experience (ExtJS, JSON, AJAX) (
2-4+ years)
Required - Strong client-side architecture and reusable GUI components
design/implementation experience (2-4+ years)
Required - Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development ( 3+
years)
Required - Strong Visual Design/User Interface skills (2+ years)
Preferred - Java/Spring MVC Experience (2-3+ years) Preferred - SQL/DB2
experience (2+ years)
1-2 years of using SVN or similar code repository tools
Required – Strong problem solving and communication skills
In depth knowledge of testing processes.
DB2 experience is preferred on either mainframe or UNIX/SOLARIS
The industry background is not important (although client is a trading
house), but experience with ExtJS is the mandatory.
