****(11+ years of strong COBOL)**** *Description*Need a Senior Mainframe Developer who provides COBOL,DB2,CICS with strong JCL development to support legacy Mainframe applications running on Z/OS. The resource will be responsible for development conforming to customer standards and requirements and will be involved in the unit testing and validation against desired outcomes. The resource is expected to function as part of a team which includes customers and must demonstrate sufficient communication skills to ensure success. The successful candidate will provide support in requirements/design/coding/testing/validation efforts for the customer Social Security Administration (SSA) *Required Skills:*11+ years of strong COBOL development and maintenance experience. 11+ years coding OS/JCL job streams. 11+ year of DB2 experience. 9+ years of strong CICS experience. 9+ years of VSAM experience. Experience with Endevor, DB2 utilities, FileAid and Xpediter. Candidate should possess good soft skills with extensive experience with analyzing and documentation of detailed requirements, development of use cases, high level and low level design, and be capable of producing related documentation. Candidate must possess the experience and ability to work effectively independently without technical oversight and to collaborate effectively within and across teams.
