- Technical design, development, integration, testing, installation,
documentation and maintenance of complex business applications.
- Developing solutions to complex business and technical problems.

*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, or
equivalent, required.
- Ten years of previous experience in technical applications and/or
information systems, required.
- In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle including
systems design, programming techniques, and technical documentation
required.
- Strong knowledge of technical and business aspects of application
software required.
- In-depth knowledge of programming languages required; JAVA.
- Websphere Message Broker (WMB) and Websphere Message Broker Toolkit
experience required.
- Experience with Broker version 8 preferable.
- Experience with z/OS preferable.

• Advanced ESQL Coding experience

• Extensive experience in various message formats, XML, JSON, Text etc.

• Experience with web services SOAP/REST

• Experience with XSDs, WSDLs etc

• Very good understanding of the integration patterns

• Lead development efforts consisting of multiple developers for the
WMB/WMQ components

• Develop, implement, test and document WMB flows and Message sets

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues as needed

AFTER THE PHONE SCREEN

Contract length: 6 months



Interview Process:

Round one is a technical phone screen

Round two is an on site interview with 2 managers

*Message Broker Developer* needed for a *contract* opportunity with client
located in Wayne, PA!

*Top Skills Should You Possess:*

   - Expertise in IBM WebSphere Message Broker v6.x
   - Strong XML, XSLT, WSDL, and web-service experience skills
   - Experience with Source Control, Subversion, PVCS

*What You’ll Be Doing:*

   - Develop and support the global enterprise service bus, which is based
   on Service Oriented
   - Support the existing Message broker and MQ 6.0 Environments on AIX.
   - Strong ability to debug issues and remediate defects quickly in
   existing Message broker message flows.
   - Support test process, create test cases, and execute regression
   testing.
   - Advise and assist in developing message flows.
   - Assist in tracking messages though logging, resolving service calls,
   and project requests

*What You Need to Bring to the Table:*

   - Proven experience with IBM WebSphere Message Broker v6.x
   - Basic understanding of Enterprise Application Integration.
   - Basic understanding of Service Oriented Architectures.
   - Strong XML, XSLT, WSDL and web-service experience
   - Skills in Java and ESQL
   - Experience with Source Control, Subversion, PVCS
   - UNIX operating system experience
   - Experience with Axway SOA technologies is a plus
