Bachelors degree in Information Management, Information Technology,
Computer Science, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years with SQL Server Database Administrator.
Experience in a fast paced enterprise environment managing a large quantity
of servers and databases.
Knowledge of SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, and 2012.
Experience with database availability, clustering, log shipping, and
mirroring.
Working knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, IIS, SharePoint, and other related
technologies.
Ability to perform SQL Server upgrade and migrations in a mission critical
environment.
Experience with SSIS deployment.
Demonstrable performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
experience, including TSQL and stored procedures.
Thorough knowledge of SQL Server security.
Duties:

Support production and development environments.
Perform backup, database integrity checks, and other database maintenance
tasks.
Perform data extraction and transformation.
Perform database performance tuning.
Knowledge of web technologies such as IIS, and SharePoint and their
interaction with databases.
Manage large SQL Server clustered environments.
Support a large and diverse range of servers.
Proactive problem identification and resolution.
Perform on-call duties.
Willingness to work on other technologies besides SQL-Server *
