*Required Skills & Experience:*

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

· 5+ years with proven results in design and implementation is
required. Strong understanding of design patterns and J2EE design patterns
and UNIX knowledge with a focus on tiered, large-scale systems

· Experience with frameworks - J2EE, STRUTS, Spring, Hibernate,
Log4J, JUnit and Jakarta Common libraries and their respective practices.

· Understand application architecture, system design and proven UML
tools. Strong understanding of OO Design concepts and principles.

· Experience in Resin, JBoss and other Web server and Application
server technologies.

· Working knowledge of XML in a Java programming environment.

· Demonstrated ability to work closely with customers to complete
projects that include understanding and articulation of Business
Requirements, Functional Design, and complex coding complex modules.

· Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
methodologies.

· Strong experience with systems that involve content delivery to
web-based systems and underlying workflow applications

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Experience some or all the following technologies and tools:
- Strong understandings of Oracle and MSSQL database tuning and performance
issues with applications.
- Strong knowledge about access control systems including SSO, Application
Security Best Practices, IP-based authentication, protocols such as
Shibboleth
- Familiarity with Search techniques
- Strong experience in developing applications using Adobe Experience
Manager (AEM) for building websites and mobile applications

Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be to design, develop, support software to measure
and improve the security of different operating systems, databases and
network devices.

Your responsibilities will include:
Design, develop, test, install and support programs/systems.
Work with internal customers to understand needs and requirements and make
recommendations on best practice systems solutions for small to medium
size/complexity/risk projects.
Analyse detailed systems factors: input/output requirements, information
flow, hardware and software requirements, alternative approaches, etc.
Validate alternative problem management proposals and make decisions on
solutions.
Provide technical assistance to other SWIFT colleagues and assist in
resolving problems reported by less senior team members.
Provide technical guidance to customers and act as mentor to less senior
team members.
Prepare documentation and operating procedures.
Lead design review meetings for small to medium size/complexity/risk
projects.
Coordinate and monitor the activities, such as schedules and costs, of a
small project team.
Evaluate and recommend technical feasibility and estimates of the proposed
systems solutions.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
At least 4-5 years of experience in systems development.
Exposure to the development of scalable, resilient, and secure software
General awareness of software security
Exposure to different software development methodologies (waterfall, agile,
etc)
Experience with version control software (Clearcase, git, etc.)
Proficiency (1+ years) in a modern scripting language (Perl, Python, etc.)
Experience with advanced regular expressions (PCRE)
Experience developing on Unix (RHEL, HP-UX, and/or Solaris and/or RHEL)
Shell scripting: ksh, bash, sh, etc
Knowledge of database usage (SQL or NoSQL), architecture, and concepts
(Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, etc.)
Knowledge of networking concepts (SSH, telnet, ftp, firewalls, etc.)
Experience with Continuous Integration (automated deployments, test
automation, code analysis)
