Role: *PeopleSoft HCM Developer (Intermediate Level) *
Location - San Ramon, CA

*Description -* Intermediate PeopleSoft Developer  II

The PeopleSoft Developer II is responsible for general production support,
tax updates, patch application, annual maintenance activities (e.g. but not
limited to W2/T4 processing, compliance, Open Enrollment) Field PeopleSoft
HCM production application which is currently live with PeopleSoft 9.0 HR,
Payroll, Base Benefits and Benefits Administration. Includes support of PS
Time and Labor (including customized functionality) application. The
PeopleSoft Developer II works as a member of a cross-functional development
team to support PeopleSoft HCM Time and Labor Applications as well as
auxiliary applications. The PeopleSoft Developer II works independently to
create technical designs, develop, unit test, and document application
enhancements and fixes using PeopleSoft development tools, Unix scripts,
and batch processing tool. Assists in analyzing and solving complex system
problems. The PeopleSoft Developer II develops and maintains interfaces and
batch processing for business applications. Works as a member of production
support team which includes nightly and daily on-call activities.

*Qualifications:*

•        BS degree and 4+ years of related experience developing computer
applications.

•        2+ years of recent PeopleSoft development experience using
PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, AE, etc.
•        Experience in two or more of the following PeopleSoft
applications: PeopleSoft Payroll, Benefits Administration, Base Benefits,
Time and Labor.
•        Good PL/SQL skills.
•        Skills not required but a plus:
o        Oracle databases/performance tuning.
o        Shell scripting and working knowledge of Perl.
o        Java programming skills.
o        Technical Support of Payroll Interface to GL.
o        Technical Support of Payroll Tax Quarterly and Yearly Processing
and Reporting.
•        Good problem solving skills.
•        Unix experience.
•        Good planning, organization and writing skills.
•        Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
•        High integrity and desire to work in a team environment.
•        Ability to work with all levels of employees.
