*iPhone Developer* *Location: Wilmington, DE * *Length: 1 year with the option to extend * *Interview: Phone then onsite * *Client: Barclays Bank (Barclaycard) * * * We are looking to hire a developer to join our mobile product development team. Building Mobile applications for our banking/credit card software * Skills:* • Experience with at least one of Objective-C/Cocoa/Xcode, Java, or C++/C# • Technical expertise in Ajax, XML, Web 2.0 application frameworks, tools and technologies • Exposure to integrating RESTful APIs and web services with applications • BS in Computer Science with a minimum of 2 years of software application and systems development experience • A proven track record of high productivity in application, architecture, design, coding, debugging • The ability to work in a fast, agile-like and nimble environment with frequent change • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills • Passion for Web 2.0 and mobile applications • Experience in developing mobile consumer software applications on the iPhone platform *Responsibilities:* • Work with team on the company's iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile (and other mobile platform) applications • Be involved at all stages of application development, from UI design to final testing • Work closely with other developers to implement server APIs and services to support planned mobile functionality blesho� F p l ȿ �� problems independently. • Serve as an advocate within IT; learns to manage client expectations and ensure prompt and complete client service. • Work directly with clients in defining new application requirements and resolving project issues, as appropriate. • Respond to user problems, including issues escalated from more junior team members. • Learn to build productive networks with internal and external clients and the vendor community. • Produce detailed documentation for changes and enhancements to current systems independently. • Assist in the analysis of vendor proposals and the evaluation of build versus buy considerations. • Contribute to the development of project plans, provide estimates, identify key milestones, and raise critical project issues such as technical constraints or resource needs and propose alternative solutions.
