Description: Consultant resource will work with State Fund team to implement a new Documentum 7.x environment and migrate existing 6.x environments to it. They will also assist with day to day operations and training of new staff in EMC Documentum technologies. Responsibilities: The tasks for the Documentum Lead Architect include, but are not limited to, the following: Lead other software engineers to design and implement well-integrated products Define and evolve the architecture for the system. Expert in all technical aspects of the product Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies based on product needs and industry trends Develop creative solutions and write technical design & architecture documents Provide work estimates for proposed projects Cross-train developers on product features that are implemented Constantly look for better processes for projecting and improving project profitability Perform hands-on software design and development in Java Develop and execute unit tests for product components Establish architectural standards and best practices Encourage innovation of process and creative development methodologies Work closely with management to determine feasibility of product features Establish standards and Perform peer code reviews and provide feedback Promote high quality, scalability, and timely completion of projects Technical Skills and Experience: BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree 10+ years of Documentum experience 3+ years of proven technical lead and architect experience. Extensive experience with Documentum 6.5, 6.6, 6.7 and 7.x Experience with migrating from Documentum 6.x to 7.x platforms Experience with D2, Transformation services, Brava, Web Services, RPSA, Content Services, WebTop 6.x Development experience in an enterprise-class system with multi-tier architecture Must have JEE 6 experience, including JPA, JSF, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, JMS Broad experience with various java development frameworks. Broad experience with various J2EE containers such as JBOSS, Tomcat, Websphere etc. Expert in J2EE APIs including EJBs, Servlets, JTA, JSPs, JSTL, web services and JDBC Expert in implementing successful distributed, scalable, high-performance multi-threaded server applications Expert with Design patterns, SOA design & development Strong experience in developing for high-availability clustered environments Working knowledge of Linux and Windows Strong speaking and writing skills Comfortable working in a flexible Agile development environment The following skills are also highly preferable: Experience with open source Java technologies including Ant, Jenkins, Maven. Experience with SQL programming.
