*Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) developer * *San Diego, CA or Charlotte , NC* *6 months+* *Job Description* Experienced Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) developer needed to lead development efforts for large team working on project and maintenance activities. The candidate must have experience being a technical lead and with assigning and managing work efforts for a development group. The candidate should have experience configuring, extending, and supporting the OFSAA AML, Fraud Detection, and Trading/Brokerage Compliance platform formerly known as Mantas. The candidate should also have extensive development expertise with Oracle forms and PL/SQL databases, including stored procedures, database triggers and database packages. A willingness to work in a fluid environment with high adaptability to change is a must for this position. The candidate should also be able to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams with minimal direction from senior management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position. Duties and responsibilities: • Design, develop, analyze and implement OFSAA AML, Fraud Detection, and Trading/Brokerage Compliance scenarios • Maintain and support data staging and ingestion processes • Design, develop, analyze and implement Oracle forms and reports, database applications and database objects • Work with other leaders of the Oracle management team to manage work demand and coordinate assignments across the development teams • Provide regular status on all work activities that ensures management is up-to-date on all issues and risks • Provide technical lead direction on overall architecture and strategy of the current Oracle systems • Provide leadership on setting and maintaining development and documentation standards • Assist team members with questions and decision making • Write or update code documentation, implementation instructions and integration tests for applications • Produce technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines • Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing database applications and database objects • Develop database procedures and packages • Optimize the existing jobs using SQL/PL-SQL tuning methodologies • Develop UNIX shell scripts *Desired Skills & Experience* Required skills • Proven leadership skills • Ability to absorb and adapt to LPL software development lifecycle (SDLC) • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis to maintain transparency on work efforts and to ensure design and implementation is understood by all team participants • Ability to facilitate discussion among people to lead to consensus • Willingness to maintain and improve existing applications as well as write new applications • Ability to work with QA to define test plans and test cases Job Requirements • BS or MS in Computer Science or related area • At least 2 years of experience working as a technical lead for an Oracle application development group • At least 5 years of experience with Mantas • At least 7 years of experience with Oracle forms and reports • At least 7 years of experience with Oracle database, SQL/PL-SQL • Solid background with UNIX system and should be very comfortable with writing shell scripts • Knowledge of .Net, Informatica, PERL, or Java a plus • Familiarity with XML and web services is good to have but not mandatory • Some knowledge of the brokerage industry is a must for this position Thanks and Regards, Nishant Bhardwaj e-Solutions Inc 2 N.
